After reading this you should watch the videos below.
Something to know about my service: Diagnosing your problem is free. I do not charge more that $90 and if
I can't fix it, you don't pay, even if I buy parts. I believe that fairness and integrity count.
Lastly, I'm pretty tired of people getting ripped off from those big box
companies, aren't you?
On Geek Squad's web site I noticed they charge
$399 for "Diagnostic & Repair with Backup" and "Diagnostic & Repair with
Protection" and they state the work time is three to four hours, that's
$100 an hour. For that price I can HAVE A WHOLE NEW PC BUILT FOR YOU
that is probably better than the one you have.
I guess I can understand why larger companies charge what they do.... I'm sure they have overhead costs and can
verify their prices but why should you, the customer, have to pay for
that? Example: you pay $500 for Dell computer then go to get it fixed
two
times and the repairs will cost you more than your computer originally
cost. With repair costs like this you're better
off just buying a new computer.
Anyway, about the videos. I've seen one of these on TV and was
shocked at how terrible some of the more "reputable" computer service
companies are. I was very surprised by Geek Squad from Best Buy; all I can
say is, "wow".
